Core Responsibility
· Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
· Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
· Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications.
· Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
· Standby purposes on-site to be the first response for any incident.
· Routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
· To identify and raise to the Engineer if there is any faulty equipment.
· Be the hands-on person to carry out S&M / Repair
· Monitor chiller plant performance (kW/RT)
· Assist Engineer to carry out any works to optimize and maintain chiller plant performance.
· Ensure Service Reports for periodic S&M is properly documented and stored.
· Attend to any complaints by Customers
Requirement
· High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
· Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
· Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
