Roles & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet parts requisition timeline.
• Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate for best value.
• Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
• Creating and managing purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy, and coordinating delivery schedules to meet operational needs.
• Monitoring inventory levels, optimizing stock levels to minimize costs while maintaining sufficient supply.
• Analyzing costs, comparing prices from different 3 suppliers, and making decisions that optimize cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.• Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations.
• Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.• Collaborating with quality assurance teams to ensure purchased goods and services meet required standards and specifications.• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications.
• Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures and guidance during supplier negotiations and contracts award process
Qualifications
• Preferably with 3-5 Year(s) of working experience in Manufacturing industry and/or any other related field/industry is required for this position.
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent, preferably in relevant course of study.
• Relevant experience preferred.
Skillset(s) Requirement:
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system would be beneficial.
