Job purpose: Responsible for the development, presentation and management of all Services customer proposals
Role overview:
To support our expanding sales opportunities and pipeline, we are introducing a new role focused on supporting the development and positioning of our Professional Services in the South East Asia Region.
In this role, you will lead all services sales activities from the point when a sales opportunity has been qualified to the start of the project. This includes building an optimal implementation approach for each project and aligning the scope and expectations with new customers and our delivery partners. It also includes coordinating activities related to building a good Statement of Work, which are key to the success of every sales opportunity and ensuring a successful project.

The role will work closely with Operations leadership, Sales and Pre Sales when building project implementation proposals. Supporting them would be other Pre-Sales, Product, Operations Consultants and Partners who would contribute expertise and recommendations to construct a compelling proposal. The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong project management, consulting, and product knowledge, and will find it exciting to meet new customers and build strong relationships at all levels.
In summary, the Services Sales Manager is effectively responsible for coordinating a successful Services Sales campaign for all prospects in their geography. This includes developing a compelling implementation proposal and Statement of Work that is aligned to the client expectations, ensuring that projects deliver measurable value, and meets our own profitability targets.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Responsible for managing the Services Sales process in new sales opportunities.
- Recommending an optimal implementation approach for all new sales cases, considering the Customers’ goals, expectations, and business requirements.
- Recommending the most suitable pricing strategy for Services together with the regional Operations leadership.
- Orchestrating the best team setup for the relevant sales phase workshops including Product experts, external Partners, regional resources etc.
- Responsible for the creation of the Statement of Work by collaborating with and managing Presales and other Operations team member contributors.
- Collaborating with the Sales and Pre-Sales teams to choose and present the best solution offering and phasing to customers in each of the sales opportunities.
- Presenting to prospects on our project delivery methodology.
- Liaising with other Operations resource owners and Partner Liaison Managers on the right composition of the project team to meet the prospects delivery requirements.
- Building strong relationships with the prospect main stakeholders.
- Coaching and supporting implementation teams to ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery.

What you Need:
- 8+ years of business operations, consulting and sales experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Project Management experience
- Experience conducting customer discovery workshops, process diagnostics and the development of a services and solution roadmaps
- Ability to articulate and position the value proposition internal and external implementation approach and methodologies
- Ability to assess and direct Customer needs to the appropriate services engagement
- Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills, to include: needs analysis, positioning,business justification, closing techniques
- Practical experience in persuading others through presentations and written communication
- Ability to develop and articulate Business Cases / ROI studies
- Experience owning the completion and presentation of customer RFI/RFP opportunities.
- Ability to travel, as needed, up to 30%
- BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
- Advanced Microsoft office tool utilization skills.
