Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented IT Engineer - MES who will be responsible for the integration of Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) focusing on improving efficiency and productivity to enhance manufacturing processes.
Mandatory Skill-set:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering;
- At least 2 years of experience in supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk);
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or C#;
- Working knowledge in Unix scripting;
- Good understanding in application server, client application and database (i.e. Oracle);
- Independent and proactive yet a strong team player;
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Desired Skill-set:
- Experience in Tibco (TIB / RV) in high technology manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 and L3 support for production systems, focusing on monitoring, maintaining, and continuously improving the Manufacturing Execution System (MES);
- Ensure the proper operation of production lines concerning products, routes, operations, equipment, recipes, and lot movements;
- Analyze user requirements to perform MES modeling and configuration for changes in material flow;
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) to validate system performance and functionality;
- Offer both user and system support during pre-implementation and post-implementation phases to ensure a smooth transition and operation;
- Ensure that development tasks are completed on time, adhering to corporate policies and guidelines, with proper documentation;
