The incumbent will undertake pre-clinical and clinical studies related to corneal diseases, particularly in corneal neuropathy. He/ She will assist the Principal Investigator and Investigators in the successful execution of the project(s).
The job involves the following duties:
- Animal experiments
- Lab experiments, including ELISA, immunohistochemistry staining, cell culture, Western blot
- Image analysis
- Data analysis and basic statistical analysis
- Procurement of lab consumables
- Grant management
- Contribute to paper writing and grant writing
Job Requirements:
- Relevant PhD Degree in Biomedicine, science, life science or relevant fields with benchwork experience is preferred
- Students who will soon complete their degrees are also encouraged to apply
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-based, cross functional research environment
- A track record of publications in international peer reviewed journals
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
Note: Remuneration Package will commensurate with qualifications and working experiences.
