Job Description
- To provide network access to all staff and ensure connectivity across the company.
- To install and configure hardware (e.g., desktops, printers, peripherals) as needed.
- To install and update required software applications on staff workstations/laptops.
- To assign network accounts and passwords to staff, ensuring appropriate access levels.
- To maintain and monitor the security of all IT systems, including the network, hardware, and software.
- To implement security measures, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and data encryption.
- To advise staff of any security breaches, passwords changes, or updates to security status.
- To ensure that all systems are compliant with company security protocols and policies.
- To install and configure IP addresses and maintain network settings.
- To work with outsourced contractor to troubleshoot network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- To identify hardware that is no longer in use and prepare it for disposal.
- To develop, implement, and enforce the IT Security Policy Manual to protect company data and IT infrastructure.
- To manage IT-related contracts, including software licenses, hardware maintenance, and service agreements, ensuring their timely renewal.
- To create procurement requisitions and orders.
Requirement
- Good knowledge of IT support and administration.
- Strong knowledge of networking, hardware setup, and software installation
- Familiarity with IT security practices, data protection laws, and best practices.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Independent team player with a positive working attitude.
