About the Job
You will ensure high availability, performance, and security of Linux, Windows, storage clusters, and virtualization (VMWare, Kubernetes).
- Optimize infrastructure health through performance tuning, security hardening, patching, updates, and scalability assessments.
- Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated provisioning and configuration.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for CI pipelines and deployment processes.
- Implement monitoring solutions to track infrastructure performance, logs, and application health.
Requirements
You will need min 6 years of hands-on, professional experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, software development, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing and supporting critical services across Linux, Windows, and middleware platforms.
- Strong background in Linux system administration and management.
- Expertise in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory (AD), Group Policy (GP), and Windows-based infrastructure services.
- Extensive experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., ESXi) and container orchestration (e.g., Docker).
- Practical knowledge of network and software-defined storage technologies (e.g., Ceph, NAS, NFS).
- Proficiency in CI/CD processes, automation tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins), and deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with Bash, Python, Shell, PowerShell, Go, YAML.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and best practices in infrastructure management and DevOps.
- Familiarity with hardware storage technologies (DAS, FC, iSCSI, RAID, SAS, RAID).
- Experience with common IT integrations (LDAP, SIEM, SMTP, REST).
- Knowledge in CI/CD methodologies and tools.
