- Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure for the organization to be in line with company guidelines or SOP (standard operating procedure).
- Assists in the coordination of various teams testing and evaluating for the development of design and its implementation of the best output.
- Installs, configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Evaluates the existing systems and provides the technical direction.
- Plans and implements system automation as required for better efficiency.
- Deals with work process, optimization methods, and risk management tools in the given projects for the successful accomplishments according to the requirements of the stakeholders.
- To provide 24/7 onsite support including weekends & public holidays on a rotational basis.
- To ensure the Tech environment is up and running.
Requirements / Skills:
- Computer science degree
- Scripting and programming proficiency
- OS and Network experience
- Certification may be helpful
- Operating systems Linux, IBM AIX & Solaris
- Configuration Management Tools: Ansible and Puppet
- Monitoring tools: ELK, Prometheus, Grafana
- APM Tools: Dynatrace & AppDynamics
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Skytap, Azure and GCP
- Scripting Languages: SHELL BASH
- IaaC Tools: Terraform, Dockerfile
- Containerization: Docker, PCF & Kubernetes.
- UNIX System Administration (RHEL, AIX & Solaris), Problem Determination and solving, and experience on GPFS, PowerHA System Mirror, and VIO.
- Experience in Observability and Monitoring including APM tools
