Job Description
As a P&O professional, you will evaluate, recommend and fabricate suitable prostheses and orthoses for peadiatric population, in providing P & O service to patients in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. You should be able to act independently to assess, evaluate and formulate a intervention plan and fabricate appropriate devices to maximize functional outcome. You will hold clinical and professional responsibilities and be involved in the administration and leading team members in provision of quality care. You are required to take charge of the equipment in the workshop, in ensuring regular servicing and maintenance of the equipment, as well as assist in workshop inventory control. You should be able to supervise and train junior staff in the clinical competencies of the specialised area and provide teachings to members of other professions.
Requirements
- At least Bachelor of Prosthetic & Orthotics
- Work well in a team and willing to learn
- Independent and with good management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
