POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced, highly organised, detail-oriented and results-driven Corporate Strategy Manager to join our Company.
This role will play a key part in shaping the strategic direction of the company, driving business growth, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic planning, market analysis, and the execution of high-impact initiatives, with a deep understanding of both business and industry dynamics.
The Corporate Strategy Manager will work closely with CEO, senior leadership and cross-functional teams to analyse industry trends, identify opportunities for growth, and help execute strategic initiatives that support long-term organisational success.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Strategic Planning: Lead and support the development of the company’s long-term and short-term strategic plans, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market opportunities.
Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth industry and competitive analyses to identify trends, threats, and opportunities. Provide actionable insights to senior management based on data-driven analysis.
Business Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse the company’s business performance and key metrics, providing insights to improve operations, optimize processes, and identify new growth areas.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with CEO, senior leadership, finance, marketing, operations, and other teams to align strategic priorities and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
Strategic Initiatives Execution: Drive the execution of key strategic initiatives, overseeing projects from inception to completion. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable outcomes.
M&A & Partnerships: Assist in evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. Conduct due diligence, prepare financial models, and provide recommendations based on strategic fit.
Executive Reporting: Prepare presentations and reports for the executive team, providing insights into strategy performance, upcoming opportunities, and key risks.
Change Management: Support the organisation in managing strategic changes and ensure alignment of all stakeholders with new initiatives and objectives.
Market Research: Gather insights through primary and secondary research, competitor benchmarking, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making.
Innovation & Growth: Identify new business models, markets, and strategic opportunities for growth, and lead the development of innovative strategies to capitalise on these opportunities.
Grants Application: Handling and following up of grant applications.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, business development, or a related field. Experience in a leadership role is a plus.
Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable plans that deliver measurable results.
Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, including financial modeling, market analysis, and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Project Management: Solid experience in managing and executing large, cross-functional strategic initiatives with a focus on results.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner to senior executives and stakeholders.
Leadership & Influence: Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple departments and teams.
Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify problems, think critically, and develop creative solutions to overcome business challenges.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reports, analyses, and presentations.
Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations, financial principles, and market dynamics.

WORKING CONDITIONS
