Job Title: Accounts Executive
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Transactions:
- Process and record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.
Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements with company accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile customer and supplier accounts periodically.
General Ledger Management:
- Maintain and update the general ledger for accurate record-keeping.
- Able to independently handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
Financial Reporting:
- Preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Provide detailed financial data to assist management in decision-making.
Tax and Compliance:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, GST, and other regulatory filings.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal regulations.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget variances and report discrepancies.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: Diploma or relevant certifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Key Competencies:
- Able to handle full set of accounts.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with local tax laws and financial regulations.
