Financial Close and Reporting
- Manage period-end closing process
- Responsible for balance sheet substantiation and ensure timely GL accounts reconciliation
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Lead the local team for Group Finance system projects and Group financial controls and reporting inititiaves
Statutory Reporting and Audits
- Prepare annual financial statements and accounting schedules
- Liaise with external auditors on relevant matters
- Manage external audit process
- Manage internal audit review on Singapore Finance functions.
Regulatory Reporting
- Manage the preparation of local regulatory reporting
- Maintain and implement effective controls over finance systems and process of Regulatory Reporting
- Responsible for review and accurate submission of MAS returns.
- Implement effective tracking mechanism for all MAS query and notification to ensure timely compliance of all regulatory reporting requirements.
- Manage external vendors (if any) for regulatory reporting system implementation and maintenance
- Lead the local team for any new local regulatory reporting project and initiatives
Tax Filing / Tax Query
- Manage and comply with local tax filings including corporate income tax and indirect taxes
