We are currently recruiting for a junior project financing associate to join our Projects & Corporate Group in Singapore. Candidates must have solid experience in project finance specifically within the energy sector.
To secure an interview for this role, you will be able to exhibit to us your abilities to:
- Experience in secured lending and project finance transactions across a wide range of industries including energy
- Drafting
- Key project documents – for example: power purchase agreements; electricity supply agreements; hydrogen purchase agreements
- Legal opinions/advice
- Finalising documentation for execution, preparing signing instructions and managing the execution process;
- Liaising with local counsel to manage the legal opinions;
- Managing the KYC and conflicts processes; and
- Preparation of draft fee letters
Candidates will also require the following key credentials and attributes:
- Singapore, England & Wales or other common law jurisdiction qualified with strong academic credentials (minimum 1PQE)
- Cross-border and emerging markets transactional experience
- Confidence to deliver work effectively and efficiently
- The ability to work autonomously and effectively handle multiple and competing priorities
- Excellent legal drafting skills with a focus on attention to detail
- Well-honed research skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to maintain tact and diplomacy, exhibit sound judgement, build trust and maintain confidentiality
