Job Requirement:
- Min Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Possess strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Competency in experimental design and statistical analysis
- Minimum intermediate level in MS Excel
- A solid understanding of experimental and lab best practices
- Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with external and internal stakeholders
- High level of integrity and data security
- Able to travel between Pride-Chem Singapore and Pride-Chem Malaysia (Pasir Gudang, Johor)
Job Description:
- Conduct research and develop new products according to project briefs.
- Perform necessary lab tests, including but not limited to stability testing, compatibility testing, and performance evaluations.
- Provide technical support during scale-up, pilot batches, and production
- Conduct research work to improve or create alternative solutions to existing products to meet customers’ requirement
- Optimize existing formulations for improved performance, or compliance with regulatory and quality requirement
- Troubleshoot and support product quality or other issues raised by customers
- Source and evaluate new or alternative raw materials when required.
- Work closely with other functions such as sales and production to meet customers’ requirement
- Oral and written communications of technical results to Management
- Maintain a good document control system for formulation and other technical information
- Lead and manage the lab department
- Any other adhoc work assigned by the supervisor
