Responsibilities and Duties:
Specific
Main Duties
- Plan, develop and manage the Palliative/ Activity Programmes.
- Schedule volunteer/expert facilitator- run activities on a weekly basis.
- Ensure smooth implementation of programme.
- Evaluates programme effectiveness and analyses results. Recommends and takes appropriate actions when needed to improve the programme.
- Allocate appropriate resources, volunteers and expert facilitators to run the activities.
- Monitor patients’ safety and well-being during the activities.
- Run groups with volunteers/ assistant (when applicable).
Administrative Duties
- Prepare reports on programme activities, progress and status to management.
- Yearly planning and budgeting.
Education and Training
- Supervise and train volunteers and provide administrative support to volunteers/ expert facilitators, when needed.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Business-related discipline will be an advantage.
- Some basic skills on handling/transferring patients will be an advantage
- Able to demonstrate skills in organization, management and leadership
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (in particular MS Excel)
- Experienced in running groups and working with elderly is an advantage
- Able to establish and maintain positive working relationship with staff, volunteers, expert facilitators and patients, good team player with a customer-focused mindset
- Must be self-directed and able to work independently
- Process good analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experienced in managing volunteers and/or projects is an advantage
