About the role
We are seeking a proactive and organized Business Administrator to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is ideal for experienced administrators and secretaries who had worked in accounting or finance industries. This role is also open to part-time tertiary students who possess the basic knowledge and are curious about the hedge fund industry, aspiring to pursue a career in this field. You will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the company while gaining valuable exposure to the world of finance.
Job Scope
- Assistance to management:
- Manage the management’s daily tasks efficiently, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and organizing events.
- Provide direct administrative support and assist in ensuring tasks and deadlines are met.
- Meeting Support:
- Take accurate and detailed minutes during meetings to ensure follow-up actions are clear and well-documented.
- Assist in preparing materials for meetings, ensuring all required information is well-organized and accessible.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with analysts and other team members to support ongoing projects, ensuring seamless communication and task execution.
- Networking Opportunities:
- Participate in team networking events, representing the company and building valuable industry connections.
- Document Management and Data Organization:
- Organize company data, file business documents, and maintain proper record-keeping systems.
- Maintain the data bank
- Office Management:
- Maintain basic office supplies, ensure a well-organized workspace, and handle day-to-day office management tasks.
- Finance Support:
- Provide support for finance operations and processes.
- Complete and file relevant surveys and forms as required.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma and bachelor’s degree. Part-time tertiary students are also encouraged to apply, particularly those interested in pursuing a career in finance industry.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other productivity tools is a plus.
