Procurement Manager
- Location: Raffles Place
- Salary : S$ 5,000 – 7,000
- Working days: Mon – Fri 9am – 6pm
Job scopes:
- Strategic Sourcing and Procurement: Manage the entire direct procurement process lifecycle, encompassing request for quotation (RFQ) issuance, supplier selection, purchase order (PO) placement and tracking, to ensure timely part delivery.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal lead times, costs, quality standards and payment terms, leveraging market insights and industry benchmarks.
- Purchase Order Management: Monitor, track and expedite pending POs to prevent delays, ensuring seamless communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Invoice and Payment Processing: Oversee the procurement role in invoice verification, payment processing and reconciliation to guarantee accuracy, compliance and timely settlement.
- Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiate, review and finalize contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing and service level agreements (SLAs), minimizing organizational risk.
- Quality Assurance and Issue Resolution: Identify, investigate and resolve quality issues promptly, facilitating claim processes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Foster strong, collaborative relationships with existing suppliers and identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers and vendors to enhance the supply chain's efficiency, resilience and diversity.
- Market Research and Intelligence: Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, supplier performance and emerging technologies, informing strategic procurement decisions.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure procurement activities adhere to organizational policies, industry regulations and ethical standards, mitigating risks and ensuring audit compliance.
- Process Improvement: Analyze procurement workflows, identify areas for enhancement and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs and elevate service quality.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate procurement strategies, performance metrics and market insights to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Special Projects and Initiatives: Undertake additional duties as assigned, contributing to organizational growth, innovation and excellence in procurement practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or related field
- Experienced in procurement / supply chain management
