Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the project team, ensuring alignment with client goals, schedules, and deliverables.
· Develop, update, and monitor the overall project schedule, addressing delays and ensuring milestones are met.
· Oversee the project budget, manage costs, and track expenditures to ensure financial targets are met.
· Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.
· Ensure construction work meets the highest standards, adhering to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
· Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
· Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental standards.
· Oversee contracts and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with terms and timely delivery of project components.
· Mentor junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
· Ensure successful project completion, including commissioning, testing, and final handover to the client with all required documentation.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP) preferred.
· Minimum 5-10 years of project management experience, preferably in large-scale construction projects, with data centre experience a plus.
· Strong understanding of construction processes, systems (HVAC, power, IT infrastructure), and engineering principles.
· Excellent leadership, team management, and communication abilities to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
· Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to resolve issues and adapt plans under pressure.
