Reporting to the Deputy Director, Human Resource, you will manage your team and provide full spectrum of HR support to the assigned BUs (approximately 200 to 250 headcount).
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle full cycle of end to end HR operations for the assigned BUs which includes recruitment, on-boarding/off-boarding activities, performance and talent management.
- Partner HODs to improve work relationship and resolve complex employee relations, thereby improving work productivity and promoting employee retention.
- Provide HR consultancy and advice to HODs including rendering guidance in HR Policies and interpretation.
- Supervise the team in benefits administration including yearly leave initialisation, workmen compensation claim submission and all medical claims matters.
- Liaise with Finance department in the yearly employee insurance review and renewal.
- Support in HR transformation initiatives which involves work processes improvement and embracing new ways of working.
- Responsible for review of HR policies.
- Involved in key compensation and benefit activities such as Salary Increment, Performance Bonus, Promotion and Manpower Budgeting exercise.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma with at least 10 years of HR generalist and/or HRBP experiences in HR Operations, compensation and benefits, recruitment, employee engagement and retention. Prior experience in payroll processing is not a must but will be advantageous.
- At least 3 years in a HR managerial role or similar capacity. Candidates with more years of relevant experiences can be considered for the Senior Manager position.
- Strong Ms Excel skills and experienced in using HRIS like Prosoft Unit 4.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous with details, passionate about people and with a hands-on mentality.
- Resilient and organised, with a strong sense of urgency and work well in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Mature and resourceful, with the ability to define and solve problems, analyse situations and make sound decisions.
- Familiar with budgeting and benefits administration like WICA claims, as well as prevailing HR practices and legislations.
