Manager, Doctor Relations

Thomson Medical Pte. Ltd.

You are required to establish and maintain effective relationships with specialist doctors, provide support to doctors including timely updates and promotion of hospital's services and capabilities. You will need to act as a bridging agent between Thomson Medical Centre (TMC) and the various doctors/staff.


PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with specialist doctors.
  • Maintain regular contact with doctors, establish close rapport including addressing any feedback on matters in relation to hospital services.
  • Provide support to doctors including timely updates and promotion of hospital's services and capabilities.
  • Resolve doctor-related matters and provide regular updates at Doctor Relations meetings.
  • Facilitate the orientation of all hospital services to newly accredited specialists.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly Doctors' Report.
  • Contribute as a team to the targets set for deliveries and admissions through proactive initiatives to motivate patients to choose TMC as their preferred hospital.
  • Engage and expand the pool of O&G in private practice to send Deliveries and Gynae cases to TMC.
  • Recruit new doctors to take up clinic space in TMC.
  • Lead the development of new doctor initiatives independently and organize regular doctor networking events.

SECONDARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify areas of improvement to delight and elevate specialist/customer overall experience.
  • Provide supportive role to hospital staff, i.e. corporate events, public talks, medical events (CME talks).
  • Assist and deliver festive goods to doctors and clinic staff (e.g. Nurses' Day, Christmas, Chinese New Year and Mooncake festival).
  • Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Reporting Officer and company from time to time based on the company's needs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, relevant experience in healthcare and hospital services advantageous.
  • Strong leadership communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical, with good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, motivating and collaborating with other business department.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and data analysis tools.
  • Action orientated with ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast moving environment.
  • Proactive attitude with good initiative.
