JOB DESCRIPTION:
Primary Function
- To provide a high level of technical support across the company, both to internal customers and external customers.
- To continually innovate to ensure the department is offering the best level of service in terms of services and equipment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Daily Scope of Job:
- Writing Specifications and Technical reports
- Telephone mannerisms support will be provided over the phone and email.
- Work closely with contract technicians to visit customers, when applicable to fix the problem.
- Check and Grade return stock with the best justification.
- Working with customers to identify product problems and advise on the solution.
- Work collaboratively with technicians, and the technical service team to develop and deliver long-term solutions to meet customer needs.
Weekly/Monthly Scope of Job:
- Participate in training and team development activities to update skills and knowledge.
- Prepare defect reports to communicate with factories’ QA.
- To undertake additional duties or projects as the technical Manager may determine from time to time.
- To conduct carrier new product(s) on field-testing.
Others:
- Require wearing uniform in neat and pleasant appearance.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness at the workshop.
- Maintain a safe working area in the workshop.
- Always perform a pleasant and patient attitude to customers.
- Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
- Higher Nitec & above in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Home Appliances related industry or other Engineering background.
- Polite demeanor with effective communication skills for client interactions.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with Chinese speaking associate.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
