This role involves developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions, building ETL pipelines, and applying advanced data modeling techniques to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in MicroStrategy (MSTR) and a solid understanding of data management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- MicroStrategy Development: Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and other BI solutions to meet business needs.
- ETL Pipelines: Build and manage ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and accurate integration from various data sources.
- Data Modeling: Implement robust data modeling techniques to organize and optimize datasets for reporting and analysis.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance the performance of MicroStrategy applications, ensuring optimal data retrieval and report generation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and accuracy of BI solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all technical processes, data models, and report configurations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or any related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in MicroStrategy Business Intelligence development.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MicroStrategy development tools, including Desktop, Web, and Architect.
- Strong understanding of ETL pipelines and data integration processes.
- Expertise in data modeling techniques and methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Preferred Knowledge: Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and scripting languages is a plus.
