- Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections.
- Meeting potential clients and building positive relationships. Implement effective sales actions according to the sales target drawn by company.
- Implement and develop sales activities in the responsible sales area under the leadership.
- Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels.
- Meet/Exceed the sales taskļ¼complete the responsible task independently.
- Maintain the existing customer, establish the detailed customer files.
- Be an AR controller according to the account period required by company.
- To visit the customer site or conduct video conference regularly to share the market update, to do the QBR/MBR in order to maintain the existing customer.
- To perform sales call to new/potential customers which are raised on target list given.
- To do market investigation, research, list up the new/potential customers.
- To propose the solution to overcome and obtain new business & share-up business both Air, Ocean and Cross Border Trucking.
- To report whatever irregularities to a direct supervisor in a timely manner.
- To do trouble shooting if something irregularity happen. Investigate the route cause with Air/Ocean operation team and propose the counter measure which clarifies the details of 5W1H and discuss on future correspondence with the customers.
- To settle the outstanding account receivable based on the terms and conditions given.
- To manage the RFQ (spot, monthly, 3 months, annual) with RFQ team and to do rate proposal to customers both Air and Ocean business.
- To perform to share the market information proactively to the existing customers and target customers
- To input the sales progress in CRM system based on the specific days timeline.
- To expand Singapore export/import business both Air and Ocean. Also, to manage 3rd party business (offshore business) as well to secure and expand business if the business owner is Singapore customer.
- To communicate with overseas offices to share each sales status and work closely with them in order to get closer the business.
Job Requirements:
- Min 3 years of experience as Sales in freight forwarding company with at least Diploma/Degree in Freight Forwarding, Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Good command of English and able to write and speak advance Japanese language fluently to liaise and communicate with Japanese clients.
- Computer literacy.
- Excellent presentation skills and communication skills.
- Strategic thinking and statistical analysis skills
