Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of current production methodologies to identify opportunities for technological advancements that improve efficiency, safety, and product quality.
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product quality. Present updates and results to stakeholders to showcase innovation progress.
- Plan, execute, and oversee engineering projects focused on innovating production processes through advanced technologies, ensuring timely and budget-conscious implementation.
- Implement rigorous testing protocols and quality control measures that leverage technology to uphold product safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze existing processes to uncover inefficiencies, recommending innovative, cost-effective solutions that maintain quality and safety. Prepare and track budget estimates for technology upgrades and process improvements.
- Maintain detailed project records that capture design specifications, testing results, and performance evaluations, facilitating knowledge transfer and transparency in innovation efforts.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders, emphasizing technological advancements, challenges, and overall project performance with a focus on innovation outcomes.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years in the packaging industry;
- Specialization in product development and process improvement with a strong emphasis on innovative packaging solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, planning, time-management, and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of Project Management, Solidworks, and SAP would be advantageous.
- Excel in dynamic environments, demonstrating flexibility in response to technological changes and challenges.
