We are seeking a self-motivated and versatile Marketing Executive to take full ownership of our marketing function. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing all day today marketing activities, and driving brand awareness and growth. You will be hands-on with everything from social media management, content creation, email marketing, and paid campaigns to working with external partners when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s goals and budget.
- Identify target audiences, market trends, and opportunities for growth
- Create and manage the marketing calendar, ensuring timely execution of campaigns
- Digital Marketing: Manage and grow our presence on social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Plan and execute paid digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads, etc.) to drive traffic and conversions.
- Optimize SEO and manage website content, ensuring it is UpToDate and aligned with SEO best practices.
- Content Creation: Create engaging content for multiple platforms.
- Email Marketing. Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and drip campaigns.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on marketing performance, using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and email marketing platforms.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar marketing role, preferably in a small business or startup environment.
- Decent understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, social media, email marketing, etc.).
- Handson experience with content creation (writing, social media management, basic graphic design).
- Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences.
- Proficiency in marketing software such as Google Analytics, WordPress, MailChimp, Canva, etc.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
- Creative thinker with a can do attitude and the ability to solve problems in a resource constrained environment.
- Ability to collaborate with external freelancers and agencies when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with SEO, PPC, and other digital marketing strategies.
- Graphic design experience is a plus (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- A high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Good organization skills
