We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Safety Manager to lead and enhance our Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, operations, and projects while maintaining compliance with ISO 45001 standards and other regulatory requirements.
Job Description
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the ISO 45001 WSH Management System, including loss prevention and public/private property damage prevention.
- Maintain and renew the ISO 45001 certification and BizSafe Level 5 certification, including preparing for audits and liaising with external auditors.
- Advise directors, managers, and project teams on WSH matters and provide support during tender preparation.
- Conduct EHS audits, inspections, and incident investigations, ensuring thorough reporting and corrective actions.
- Oversee Emergency Response Plans (ERP) and conduct annual fire drills at the company's HQ.
- Supervise and guide WSH personnel, including hiring, training, and monitoring their performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate and implement SGS Health & Safety Management System.
- Ensure compliance with EHS standards in all company facilities, including offices, labs, workshops, and storage areas.
- Conduct new staff safety orientation and ensure company-wide safety awareness.
- To support and act as project safety officer as and when required.
Requirements
- Registered WSHO, Registered ECO
- Internal Auditor qualification for ISO 45001, preferably Lead Auditor
- Experience in audit, developing and maintaining ISO 45001 WSH Management System for at least 3 years
- Preferably a qualified registered FSM(May need for our new office) with SCDF, to oversee Fire Safety matters at HQ.
- Min. 3 years post WSHO registration experience with LTA & PUB projects
- Very familiar with MS Office, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Outlook
- Able to advise project teams doing various projects like LTA, PUB, NParks, CAG, etc. on all HSE matters
