Job Description
The Marketing executive will liaise with business partners and underwriters, generate management reports, presentation and conduct process improvement in the Motor and A&H Business Development and Underwriting Department and the principal accountabilities are as below:
- Build long term sustainable relationships with business partners
- Liaising, advising and servicing (Including rapport building) intermediaries/insureds on A&H and motor insurance matters;
- Develop marketing campaigns, schemes and activities
- Work internally with underwriters to implement campaigns, schemes and marketing activities
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior underwriters and administrative assistants;
- Provide support to other Team Underwriters as required;
- Generate and analyse management reports on A&H And Motor Underwriting Department performance;
- Review, propose and execute process improvement in the A&H and Motor Underwriting Department;
- Any other responsibilities as assigned by Head A&H and Motor Underwriter.
Job Specific Competencies
- At least 2 years of underwriting experience in motor insurance;
- Passed the papers required by MAS to advise on general insurance matters;
- Possess the necessary people skills for managing their team
- Good communication skill, tact and patience needed in handling clients for this very competitive class of business
- Able to multi-task, and is a team player, conscientious, tactful and willing to learn new skills;
- Able to work independently and interact with different levels of customers.
