Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Manual Tester to work on project with a leading bank.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree / Diploma holder from recognized university, preferably in Business or Computer Science;
- At least 2-3 years of experience in software Quality Assurance;
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies;
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, SQL, and API testing;
- In-depth understanding of testing methodologies and practices;
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work both independently and within a team with good inter-personal skills.
Desired Skill-set
Certification in Quality Assurance (ISTQB, CSTE) or Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) is a plus;
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and refine QA methods for greater efficiency and effectiveness;
- Conduct thorough end-to-end testing, document results, and track defects to resolution;
- Collaborate with development teams, business users, and vendors to ensure alignment, gather feedback, and provide UAT support throughout the project;
- Analyze business processes to identify improvement opportunities and continuously refine QA practices for greater efficiency and effectiveness;
- Work closely with the development team and business users throughout the project to ensure alignment and smooth progress;
- Assist in user acceptance testing by liaising with end users and collecting feedback;
- Assist the Test Manager in overseeing and managing the testing activities.
