The Engineer is responsible for the engineering, maintenance and servicing of equipment and associated electrical and mechanical parts. He/She leads a team of Assistant Engineers and Technicians and general workers to ensure that maintenance works and services are carried out swiftly and in accordance with regulatory requirements to minimise disruptions to operations and ensure progression to meet project schedule.

The Engineer acts as a first point of contact for complex repairs and works closely with client and team to address and resolve technical and engineering issues. He/She develops maintenance and engineering regimes and ensures that they are implemented, and assesses risks and its impact on the organisation. The Engineer solves day-to-day issues and oversees the implementation of workflow improvements that may enhance clients' satisfaction, as well as optimise the use of the organisations resources.

The Engineer is a team player with strong leadership skills. He/She should be able to work under pressure, multi-task and work irregular hours, as well as be prepared to work at various heights.

~ Analyse risk management data.

~ Conduct audits on maintenance of equipment.

~ Develop, coordinate, or monitor all aspects of installation and commissioning.

~ Manage compliance to risk management frameworks, policies and processes.

~ Manage engineering resources.

~ Measure equipment efficiency to propose improvements.

~ Monitor maintenance and repair schedules to ensure compliance.

~ Oversees the deployment of staff to maintenance functions.

~ Prepares specifications and drawings installation.

~ Specify system components or direct modification of products.

~ Inspection on installation method

~ Effectiveness of the corrective action process and the improvement implementation

~ Documentation of the production inspection plan, process control plan, technical work instruction

~ Documentation of Corrective Action Request (‘CAR’), processing of returned material, maintenance of product quality tracking status

~ Plan and track receiving quality inspection results and records

~ Compile quality summary report
