Job Description & Requirements
- Supervise all food preparation, production and presentation to ensure consistency in food quality and freshness in accordance with the restaurant’s standard operating procedures
- Assist in the preparation and control of the daily / weekly market list.
- Follow up on any changes in new recipes or work methods pertaining to any new menus and functions as per instructions given by the Chef and recipes.
- Ensure adherence to the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures, safety rules implemented at the workplace and procedures including reporting of hazards or incidents.
- Maintain good personal hygiene standards, ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of the work station at all time.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef.
Requirements
- Good planning, organizational and communications skills
- Able to lead and be a good team player
- Good culinary skills in Chinese cuisine
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity in the F&B industry
