Credit Control Executive

Job Responsibilities:
- Support debt collection efforts and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Prepare regular and monthly credit-related reports for the Finance Manager or Head of Department (HOD).
- Monitor and track monthly debt collection performance against targets.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to unpaid invoices, ensuring swift resolution.
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager/HOD to review aged balances and implement follow-up actions.
- Apply and enhance best practices in collection strategies to improve overall effectiveness.
- Recommend and implement improvements to credit risk measures, controls, and processes.
- Evaluate new credit requests and conduct thorough client credit checks.
- Propose and establish appropriate credit terms for new clients.
- Negotiate payment plans and facilitate collections to maintain account health.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries related to credit and collections.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective credit management.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- Min. Diploma in Finance or related field
- Min 2 - 3 years of relevant experience would be advantageous
- Proficient in engaging with clients to facilitate effective debt recovery and resolution
