Marketing and Communications Manager

As our M&C Manager, your role involves developing, organising and implementing long-term marketing strategies and short-term initiatives. Today, you're capturing moments of students in action, creating engaging content for a diverse audience. Working alongside a dedicated team of experienced teachers and business staff, each with their unique cultural background, you contribute to providing a secure and welcoming environment for children aged 18 months to 12 years.

The role
As part of our effort to boost brand awareness and generate leads, you will plan, execute, and evaluate advertising campaigns such as Instagram posts, Google Ads and Facebook Ads. As our M&C manager, you oversee the school’s social media accounts, ensuring that all platforms deliver consistent, engaging, and on-brand messaging.
Success in this role also requires leading the redesign of our website and serving as the main point of contact for event management, including open houses, school fairs, and community engagement activities. In this role, you will collaborate with the Principal and school leadership to align marketing efforts with broader school goals.
In your collaboration with our Finance department, you monitor expenditures and optimise resource allocation. You will work closely with colleagues in the Business department, teachers, and the Principal and school leadership to promote Holland International School within Singapore and internationally.
Your responsibilities
- Drive our school’s marketing with passion and purpose by planning, designing, managing and evaluating the marketing (and communications) activities aimed at our target audiences.
- Track the performance of marketing activities using KPIs (e.g., enrollment trends, web traffic, lead generation) and present regular reports and actionable insights to the Principal and school leadership for data-driven decisions.
- Develop and oversee communication materials like brochures, newsletters, and digital content, strengthening the school’s visibility and reputation among all stakeholders.
- Act as the school’s spokesperson, managing media relations, and building relationships both externally with media outlets and internally with staff, parents and stakeholders.
- Analyse campaign performance (ROI, audience reach) and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements.
- Collaborate with the Principal and school leadership to position Holland International School as a leading choice for international education in Singapore.
- Maintain up-to-date website content and optimise SEO to increase organic traffic.
- Partner with the Admissions department to ensure event success and alignment with strategic objectives.
You have:
- A Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communication or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing, preferably in the education sector
- Experience as a team lead, actively and successfully driving the marketing strategy within an organisation by taking initiative and liaising with senior management.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies, with strong project management skills and a hands-on mentality.
- Experience with budgeting and resource management processes and expertise in social media management, SEO, SEM, and Google Analytics.
- A proven track record creating content for social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Canva, and content management systems.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Excellent English communication and writing skills. Proficiency in Dutch, Mandarin and/or French is a plus.
We offer you
A temporary contract until June 30th from the date of employment (potential for renewal). Part of the benefits package is a salary ranging between SGD 5,000 to. SGD 6,500, a monthly transport allowance and 25 holidays based on a year contract, all based on a 40-hour workweek.
