The Role:
- Developing and maintaining personnel policies in collaboration with the management team (MT) and the Board.
- Advising the MT on HR topics, both solicited and unsolicited.
- Executing HR projects and ad hoc assignments in collaboration with the MT and the Board.
- Supporting the recruitment of teaching staff and leading the recruitment of non-teaching staff.
- Organizing the onboarding of new International and Dutch colleagues.
- Drafting and answering questions about current and new contracts. These are partly in English and Dutch
- Ensuring the implementation of Singaporean contractual obligations and legislation, and informing the MT and staff about these.
- Understanding of the Dutch labor law
- Applying for all work permits and maintaining contact with MOM and EDB about developments.
- Responsible for the entire personnel administration, ensuring it runs correctly and efficiently.
- Checking payroll administration and leave with the finance manager.
- Managing digital personnel files and the HR archive.
- Contact the Dutch Pension provider and other governmental Dutch organisations
- In addition to the above tasks, you will be part of the administration department and thus jointly responsible for general administrative tasks and projects.
Profile:
- HBO working and thinking level
- At least 6 years of work experience in a similar role
- Eager to gain knowledge of relevant local laws and regulations
- Skilled in translating laws and regulations into advice
- Familiar with salary and personnel information systems
- Good administrative skills
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Experience with Apple, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Drive
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Actively contribute to optimal collaboration with all sections within the school
- Team player, proactive, stress-resistant, and flexible
