The Role:

  • Developing and maintaining personnel policies in collaboration with the management team (MT) and the Board.
  • Advising the MT on HR topics, both solicited and unsolicited.
  • Executing HR projects and ad hoc assignments in collaboration with the MT and the Board.
  • Supporting the recruitment of teaching staff and leading the recruitment of non-teaching staff.
  • Organizing the onboarding of new International and Dutch colleagues.
  • Drafting and answering questions about current and new contracts. These are partly in English and Dutch
  • Ensuring the implementation of Singaporean contractual obligations and legislation, and informing the MT and staff about these.
  • Understanding of the Dutch labor law
  • Applying for all work permits and maintaining contact with MOM and EDB about developments.
  • Responsible for the entire personnel administration, ensuring it runs correctly and efficiently.
  • Checking payroll administration and leave with the finance manager.
  • Managing digital personnel files and the HR archive.
  • Contact the Dutch Pension provider and other governmental Dutch organisations
  • In addition to the above tasks, you will be part of the administration department and thus jointly responsible for general administrative tasks and projects.

Profile:

  • HBO working and thinking level
  • At least 6 years of work experience in a similar role
  • Eager to gain knowledge of relevant local laws and regulations
  • Skilled in translating laws and regulations into advice
  • Familiar with salary and personnel information systems
  • Good administrative skills
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Experience with Apple, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Drive
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Actively contribute to optimal collaboration with all sections within the school
  • Team player, proactive, stress-resistant, and flexible
