Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing strategies for registration, accommodation, flights, and transportation throughout the event lifecycle.
- Create and execute proposals with internal and external stakeholders as well as vendors on the event requirements, with high priority on attendee experience and satisfaction.
- Implement test plans for websites and applications to enhance user experience, identifying and resolving any potential logic issues.
- Creating marketing content for eDMs and social media, and executing telemarketing, email, and social media strategies.
- Generate efficient report templates tailored to meet the needs of each stakeholder, using formats like Excel and PowerPoint.
- Managing registration platforms with proficiency.
- Plan and allocate resources for pre-event, onsite execution and post-event, ensuring timely delivery of milestones planned out for each project.
- Negotiating contracts with third-party vendors for services like registration platforms and accommodations.
- Assisting with hospitality for event VIPs and key stakeholders.
- Perform other roles & responsibilities as requested
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in the event industry or related experience.
- Detailed, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a flair in customer servicing a plus
- Work well under pressure and within tight timelines and able to work well individually and as a team
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel) and Google Suite applications – knowing how to handle large data sheets with the use of technical knowledge is an advantage.
- Candidates with prior experience in events management, platform management and/or customer servicing preferred.
- Good communication skills
