Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), corporate clients, or retail banking clients (depending on role focus).
Act as the primary contact for clients, providing them with tailored banking solutions and products to meet their financial needs.
Proactively identify new business opportunities and grow the client portfolio through referrals, networking, and cross-selling of bank products.
- Financial Advisory & Product Offering:Provide clients with advice on a range of financial products including savings accounts, loans, investment products, and insurance solutions.
Identify client goals and create personalized financial plans to help them achieve their objectives.
Keep clients informed of market trends and changes in financial regulations that may impact their investment decisions.
- Portfolio Management:Monitor client portfolios regularly and conduct reviews to ensure optimal performance and alignment with client objectives.
Analyze financial data to offer customized product offerings and credit solutions that address client needs.
Manage risk by ensuring all financial advice and product recommendations are in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Sales & Business Development:Achieve and exceed individual sales targets through client acquisition and retention strategies.
Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling banking products such as personal loans, mortgages, deposits, and wealth management solutions.
Work closely with internal teams (e.g., credit, compliance, investment) to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Customer Service & Support:Provide exceptional service by responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
Ensure client satisfaction through regular follow-up and maintaining high service standards.
Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for the client’s banking needs.
- Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure all transactions and interactions comply with relevant banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
Conduct proper due diligence and know-your-client (KYC) assessments to manage credit risks and client suitability for products.
Stay informed about regulatory changes that may impact client relationships or banking processes.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Relationship Manager, Wealth Manager, or in a similar client-facing role in banking.
- Strong knowledge of banking products, financial services, and wealth management solutions.
- Proven track record in sales and business development with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations, KYC processes, and risk management in banking.
- Proficiency in using banking CRM and financial analysis tools.
