Construction Manager (MRT Project)
Our client is a prestigious A1 main contractor with a strong reputation and proven track record in both building and infrastructure projects across Singapore. With a diverse portfolio and a commitment to delivering quality, they are a trusted partner for major public sector works, including LTA projects. 5.5 days work/week with shuttle bus service provided to the job sites from various locations across Singapore.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the successful execution of a large-scale MRT project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading organization and work on one of Singapore's key infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all construction activities related to the MRT project, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
- Supervise and coordinate teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to budget, quality standards, and regulations set by LTA and other relevant authorities.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including government agencies, consultants, and design teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in managing LTA projects, particularly in the construction of MRT systems.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of LTA guidelines, project management, and MRT construction methodologies.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in the rail or MRT sector.
