Purpose and Scope
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible to establish networks and strong relationship built with international prospects, business partners and trade agencies in the Semiconductor industry with the prime objective of securing tenancy for our projects in China, Indonesia, Vietnam and future developments around Asia. This role is based in Singapore.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Marketing strategy
- Be among the first to know when a Semiconductor company is thinking of entering the markets that we operate in through established channels and market intelligence
- Segment, Target, Populate and effectively reach-out to each client to create an interest with the prime objective of securing a lease commitment.
- Leverage on agencies and value-add partners (banks, trade bodies, quasi-governmental agencies, business services) to generate leads, referrals and support in making the marketing drive creditable and effective.
- Organise through partnership/collaboration with like-minded business partners, project-focused investment events, roadshows and forums to create interest and awareness for our projects with the prime objective of generating marketing leads for subsequent cultivation and realisation.
Marketing tactics
- Frequent hosting of site visits to the countries we operate in (Vietnam, Indonesia, China etc) to gauge the level of seriousness in clients after first business interaction and increase the chance of a deal-closure.
- Presenting at marketing-related roadshows, forums and events to raise awareness and generate interest in our projects to target audience. Final objective is to convert awareness to leads for cultivation.
- Meet 20 qualified clients per month to populate the prospects base and raise the possibility of deals closure. (prospects’ base should be 5-10x larger than the clients met).
Planning & budgeting
- Comply with pre-set budgets, spending limits and declarations.
Qualification, Skills and Experience
- Accredited Degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Studies or Real Estate. Additional degree or major in EEE will be an added advantage.
- 8 years and more working experience in the semi-conductor (EEE) industry or cluster is needed for the incumbent to be competent in the working knowledge and to have a strong network of relevant contacts.
- Effective communication skills – presenting, writing and communicating.
- Proven track record in closing deals / contracts.
- Travel up to 50% of the time at peak period.
- Knowledgeable of Powerpoint, MSExcel and MSWord esp in slides creation and presentation.
