Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute inventory planning strategies to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing both excess inventory and stockouts across various port and supply chain operations.
- Manage and coordinate purchase orders with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of goods and alignment with inventory requirements.
- Continuously monitor inventory levels and turnover rates, analyzing metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports on stock status, inventory turnover, and order fulfillment to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and service providers to ensure reliability and address any supply chain issues promptly.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and streamline operations within the port and supply chain environment.
- Address and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and other issues proactively, providing solutions to minimize impact on supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- NITEC in any discipline
- Preferably with experience in Maximo and/or Oracle Fusion
