Singapore Aquatics (SAQ) is the governing body for the aquatic sports of swimming, water polo, diving and artistic swimming in Singapore as a member World Aquatics (AQUA). SAQ is charged with the development and education of aquatic players, officials, coaches and volunteers throughout Singapore and with the conduct of competitions and programmes for all levels of participation.

SPORTS MANAGER (WATER POLO)
The Sports Manager (Water Polo) is responsible for managing and coordinating tasks related to the Singapore Water Polo National Teams and Development Squads, including the daily training environment and overseas training and competitions, as well as supporting the growth and development of the sport ecosystem in Singapore and the region.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the daily training environment for the Singapore Water Polo National Teams and Development Squads.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of overseas training and competitions for the Singapore Water Polo National Teams and Development Squads.
- Support the communication and coordination of sport science support for the national training squads.
- Assist in the development and communication of athlete development plans with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate logistic requirements with internal and external parties as well as relevant authorities for sports events.
- Assist in managing the volunteer and technical official framework.
- Handling enquiries from the public, affiliates and stakeholders.
- Carry out various meeting, administration procedures including organizing meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes.
- Handle the general administration of schemes and the various activities of the Association.
- Recording and reporting of key data from current and historic events.
- Assist in the planning and executing local and international sports events.
- Manage and track budgets and expenditures
- Maintain up-to-date inventory of water polo equipment.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Physical Education, Sports Management, sport science, or any sports-related fields.
- Min 3 years of related work experience.
- Good team player and willing to work on weekends.
- Able to travel overseas for competitions and training.
- A dynamic and mature person with a strong passion for sports.
- Possess good interpersonal communications and writing skill.
- Confident, reliable and able to front events independently.
- Possess initiative with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Meticulous with a keen eye for details.
- Proficient in MS-Office applications.
- A can-do attitude with focus on achieving results
- Experience within high performance sport environment
