Company background:

A leading Singapore-based Agrochemicals (Pesticide & Fertilizer) Manufacturing & Trading Company.


Job Scope:

  • Testing of different materials purchased by company for production of pesticide & their packing as per set specifications.
  • Documentation of testing and their findings in according to ISO system and reporting of results to supervisor/ senior
  • Results shall be traceable to raw data
  • All results shall be recorded in print format as well as Soft files
  • Calibration of lab equipment's on periodic basis and maintain records of such activities
  • Maintain Internal calibration record for HPLC, GC, UV, pH Meter etc.
  • Train new staff on calibration of different equipment
  • Record of stock of glassware, chemical, solvent, reference standard and other relevant consumables for smooth operation of laboratory activities
  • Ensure all stocks are updated on last working day of every month
  • Generate report and discuss for requirements to keep minimum inventory for different materials including chemicals, glassware, reference standards
  • Co-ordination with production/ warehouse for smooth operation at production floorEnsure activates in lab shall be as per work allocation based on WOSU
    Ensure reports are shared with production promptly
  • Inform any anomalies to production supervisor/ senior for immediate corrective action
  • Ensure all test methods/standards used in lab are validated or supported by some valid reference, if any deviations observed make a not and take corrective action and ensure such deviations do not repeat in future
  • Report deviation to superior and take corrective action as per discussion, make record of deviations in NCR and record Corrective actions in CAR forms
  • Use only reference standard with traceability to A- Standards and maintain a minimum quantity of reference standard
  • Testing of technical material to create secondary standard and maintain record of such activity
  • Ensure all secondary standards are traceable to A-Standards
  • Ensure all A-Standards should have COA through out there shelf life, maintain record of A-Standard consumption
  • Co-ordinate with outside labs for smooth functioning of production and day to day operations as per requirement
  • Training of new staff and help them familiarize with company policies and procedures
  • Identify short comings or training need of new staff from day to day work practice
  • Communicate training needs with Manager/ Senior
  • Decide on training schedule and source of training internal or external with Manager/ Senior
  • Report your daily work and problems faced, to your supervisor/ senior for quick and long term solution
  • Operation of WWT plant and testing of waste water samples as and when requirement arise
