(Urgent) Senior HR Executive / Assistant HR Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior HR Executive / Assistant HR Manager to join our dynamic HR team. The successful candidate will lead and manage all HR functions to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of HR strategies and policies. This role will require strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of Singapore Labour Laws, and the ability to align HR practices with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates for various positions across the organization.
    Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent and meet organizational staffing needs.
    Coordinate with department heads to understand hiring requirements and create job descriptions.
  2. Compensation & Benefits:Manage employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking, incentive schemes, and benefits administration.
    Ensure that compensation structures are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
    Provide guidance on payroll administration and benefits-related queries.
  3. Employee Relations:Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns regarding workplace issues, performance, or grievances.
    Foster a positive and supportive work environment, ensuring open communication between management and staff.
    Resolve employee disputes, complaints, or conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  4. Performance Management:Oversee the performance management system, ensuring that performance reviews are conducted in a consistent, fair, and transparent manner.
    Provide guidance to managers on setting performance objectives, conducting appraisals, and addressing performance issues.
    Implement employee development plans and initiatives to support continuous growth and improvement.
  5. HR Policy Development & Compliance:Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with Singapore Labour Laws and industry best practices.
    Ensure that HR policies and practices comply with local regulatory requirements and promote a healthy and compliant work environment.
    Stay updated on changes in labour laws and regulations to ensure the company remains compliant.
  6. HR Administration & Reporting:Manage HR documentation and employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance with data protection laws.
    Prepare regular HR reports on key metrics such as turnover, recruitment, employee engagement, and performance.
    Assist with HR audits and ensure all necessary records are maintained for compliance purposes.
  7. Training & Development:Identify training needs across the organization and support the design and delivery of training programs.
    Promote employee engagement initiatives to enhance organizational culture and employee satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, with a solid background in recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management, and employee relations.
    Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing HR functions in a mid-to-large-sized company.
    Strong knowledge of Singapore Labour Laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Skills & Competencies:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
    High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
    Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a hands-on approach.
    Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
