Overview:
- Our client is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to provide Level 1 support for trading applications and systems at their Singapore office. The role involves supporting internal end-users in a fast-paced, business-critical environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of desktop operating systems, business applications, and experience in trading/back-office operations support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, IP phones, and video conferencing.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Microsoft OS and applications.
- Offer Level 1 support for business apps like Bloomberg and internal trading systems, including daily system checks.
- Handle user onboarding/offboarding, access rights management, and asset disposal.
- Manage software and hardware inventory.
- Collaborate with global IT teams on projects (upgrades, migrations).
- Ensure security and compliance within end-user computing.
Requirements:
- 4–6 years of IT experience, with at least 1 year in financial services.
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Strong desktop support and service desk experience.
- Knowledge of network connectivity and data center facilities.
- Strong end-user focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and perform under pressure.
