RSVP Singapore is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual who will play a critical role in managing both internal and external stakeholders, as well as proactively seeking out fundraising avenues and partnerships to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Deputy Director to develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to achieve long-term organisational sustainability
- Actively seek out and cultivate partnerships with potential donors, sponsors, and funding agencies to secure financial support for the organisation’s programmes and initiatives
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders including existing/ potential individual donors, corporates, and funding organisations
- Work closely with team members and various stakeholders to organise and manage fundraising efforts to achieve fundraising targets
- Monitor and evaluate fundraising efforts to ensure effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed
- Communicate effectively the impact of RSVP Singapore’s programmes and initiatives to stakeholders through presentations, written proposals and other communication channels
- Advocate for the organisation’s mission and initiatives within the community and among potential donors
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently and proactively, with strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated learning attitude and aptitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in fundraising and event management, particularly within the social service sector, is preferred
- A strong team player
- Effectively bilingual will be an advantage
- A sales background would be beneficial
