Job Description:
· Execute test plans to validate the quality of product features
· Support development through writing and maintain automated tests including unit tests, functional tests, performance tests, scenario tests and interoperability tests
· Design and develop automation harness using C++, .NET, Web Services, and JavaScript. May use or adapt commercial off the shelf software test tools (Test Complete) or develop custom applications
· Conduct API testing to ensure sound interface for third-party developers
· Develop tools to improve software development processes
· Participate in code and test plan reviews with rest of testing and development team
· Process defect reports from customers, product support, newsgroups, Applications Engineers and confirms/tracks specific issues
· Support beta programs / QA driven customer events, including mass testing efforts such as test fest
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline
- Knowledge of Telco Customer Care or Billing and CRM system would be an added advantage
- Experience in object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java/C++/C#) and scripting languages
- Experience in developing automation framework
- Agile/Scrum experience in delivering production-quality software releases
- Experience with Test Complete or any object-oriented test automation framework
- Familiarity with Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) and have undergone at least one complete lifecycle of a medium- to large-scale application development project involving vendors, in-house IT teams and business users.
- Strong analytical ability over business and technical issues
- 4+ Years of QA experience including:
-Testing web bases and client-server applications
-Producing test plans and test cases
-Manual testing and use of associated testing tools
