Head of Global Projects - Agency Finance

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Global Projects - Agency Finance to join our dynamic team at PIL. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end implementation of the Global financial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Vision:

  • Oversee the design of global blueprint of agency finance operation process.
  • Ensure alignment of integration of IT systems and application to support the transformation.
  • Ensure the alignment of technology solution with business requirements and objectives.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internal (executives, department heads) and external (vendor representatives), ensuring alignment and support throughout the transition.

Communication:

  • Ensure that vendor deliverables meet project specifications and timelines

Decision-Making:

  • Make informed and timely decisions, considering the impact on the transition project and the broader organizational context.

Change Leadership:

  • Drive organizational change by effectively communicating the benefits of the Shared Services initiative and addressing concerns proactively.
  • Conduct training sessions and create training materials for end-users.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks associated with the transition, develop mitigation strategies, and lead the implementation of risk management plans.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating processes and systems, identifying opportunities for optimization, and implementing best practices.

Requirements

  • A recognised degree or equivalent in Business, Accountancy, Economics, Finance, Data analytics or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, business process or related role
  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on executing complex projects within specified timelines.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role in a large organisation
  • Experience with change management and leading organisational transformations
  • Familiarity with the container shipping industry is a plus.
  • Professional certification such as Lean Management or PMP (Project Management Professional) would be advantageous
