Job Description


As a Principal you are a member of the management team of your respective Competence Center/Country. You will establish and develop your business activities in your area of expertise and generate trustful and sustainable relationships. In your role, you will closely monitor relevant market trends, develop new approaches and methodologies and translate them into impactful business strategies. You will responsibly drive, oversee and manage the delivery of value creating consulting mandates. As trustworthy mentor, you will build and develop a dedicated team, help people to grow within the firm, thus ensuring Roland Berger's long-term success.

As an empathic leadership personality, you rely on a sustainable business network and have an excellent track record in successfully acquiring consulting mandates and creating value for your clients. You are visionary and bring in leading-edge functional expertise/industry insights into projects and acquisitions ('see it coming before they do'). With your insights and personality, you inspire the project teams to depart from the beaten track. You are available for sparring and continuously challenge project work/results to ensure your projects create tangible impact for the client.


You are the key RB representative to the client, highly valued for your insights


You are considered an equal and trusted counselor by your clients. You show genuine interest, respect and empathy for the client but always maintain an impartial view. They value you highly for your functional know-how/industry insights. Throughout your career you have built a diverse network of stable contacts. You are eloquent, present, authentic and at ease when communicating at all times. You manage to set the agenda of your clients, systematically creating acquisition leads also outside of the "bread and butter" business.

When developing an account, you systematically and with foresight mobilize and pool available expertise and contact base.
