We are looking for a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the costs related to construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of construction practices, strong analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Management & Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and other construction-related expenses. Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to ensure that the project is delivered within budget.
- Tendering & Procurement: Carry out tender submissions to various tender portals. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Contract Administration: Review and interpret contracts and conditions. Prepare contractual documents, amendments, and ensure compliance with contract terms during the project lifecycle.
- Budget Control & Financial Reporting: Develop and monitor project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and areas of risk. Prepare financial reports and forecasts, tracking costs and variations.
- Site Visits & Surveys: Conduct site inspections and surveys to gather data on progress and quality. Collaborate with project managers to address issues or delays.
- Claims Management: Handle claims and disputes, ensuring proper documentation and negotiation of settlements as required.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all works comply with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
Key Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Preferably 2 years of local experience in Quantity Surveying, within the construction industry. All are welcome to apply.

- Strong understanding of construction processes, building materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Knowledge of cost management, budgeting, and financial reporting.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
