The Worldtrade Management Services (WMS) team in PwC advises a broad range of clients on customs and international trade regulatory issues. The international trade environment in Asia, with its varying trade rules, regulations and compliance requirements presents an exciting and challenging career opportunity that offers great cross-border exposure.

You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing customs compliance, dispute resolution, and global enterprise solutions.
How will you value-add?
We are currently seeking a well-qualified Manager to grow our team in Singapore. You will be in charge of multiple projects at a time, fronting client interactions, working closely with Directors and Partners in leading cross-border teams from around the world to deliver both local and regional projects, and to maintain and grow our client and intra-firm relationships.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Executing and delivering a wide range of projects in conjunction with other WMS teams around the region and with the PwC Tax, Assurance and Advisory practices in Singapore.
- Client projects require knowledge of customs valuation & classification, Free Trade Agreements, import / export compliance, customs & trade technology and trade strategy development. Candidates will be expected to identify potential opportunities to improve trade efficiency and savings as well as improvements in compliance.
- Candidates will be expected to assume a proactive role in planning and executing practice improvements, business development, and other initiatives to develop and create opportunities for the WMS business and its people.
About you
- Candidates should have at least 6 years of customs and trade professional experience in consulting or in industry.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, highly demanding and ever changing environment.
- Foreign language ability is a plus.
- A desire to pursue a career in the field of customs and international trade.
