- Serve as the go-to expert for the Private Wealth system (FinIQ) and other designated banking systems, including bespoke back-office systems and tools.
- Take ownership of the entire system lifecycle, from analysis and design to development, customization, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead to understand user needs, assess technical implications, and estimate the effort required for development or customization tasks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation, including test cases, to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Develop, modify, and customize applications or platforms to meet specific requirements, potentially leading or overseeing the work of other team members.
- Conduct rigorous peer reviews of source code and documentation to maintain high quality standards.
- Perform thorough unit testing and system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to identify and resolve defects.
- Develop release procedures and oversee production implementation, ensuring a smooth transition to the live environment.
- Create and update user manuals, system operational manuals, and other essential documentation to empower users.
- Troubleshoot issues, provide workarounds, and collaborate with vendors to resolve problems. Conduct in-depth root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience using Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Azure).
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with the FinIQ platform for Private Wealth.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, particularly in the realm of Private Wealth.
- Proven ability to work effectively in complex, matrixed organizational structures.
- Solid knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), specifically the waterfall methodology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to shared goals.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and respond effectively to evolving business needs.
