- Employ statistical modeling and machine learning to diagnose customer issues, pinpoint root causes, and provide actionable solutions.
- Partner with field engineers to analyze plasma etching system data, delivering timely, accurate, and insightful reports to drive improvement.
- Clearly communicate complex data analysis findings to both customers and internal teams, presenting results in a concise and understandable manner.
- Develop sophisticated statistical and machine learning algorithms to extract valuable insights from large, complex datasets, and collaborate with engineering teams to assess their effectiveness.
- Share best practices and contribute to cross-functional data science initiatives with global data engineering teams.
- Oversee and maintain internal analytics solutions, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and conduct training sessions on data analytics tools like JMP and KNIME to empower local engineers.
- Undertake other assigned tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Holds a degree or master's degree in Microelectronics, Data Science, or a relevant field.
- Possesses a minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, semiconductor fabrication, semiconductor parts/peripherals, or a related industry.
- Proven track record as a Data Scientist in the semiconductor industry, specializing in plasma dry Etch processes.
- Skilled in developing and implementing algorithms to optimize processes and solve problems.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics methodologies, statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and predictive modeling.
- Proficient in using various data science tools and programming languages (Python, JSL, R, etc.) for data manipulation, visualization, and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment, building strong relationships with customers.
- Meticulous, organized, resourceful, highly motivated, and capable of independent work.
